The pricing of corporate cleaning services will depend on your requirements and budget. Though most every janitorial service company provides basic services to each of their clients, not every client has the same needs. Therefore, corporate cleaning services will vary in cost based on the specific services needed. Some clients save money by minimizing services. For instance, some clients request nightly ‘traffic vac’ service (where only the high traffic areas are vacuumed) with a detailed vacuum just once a week. A similar situation could apply to mopping and sanitizing of hard floors; some clients require nightly services while others require weekly. As you can see from these two examples, the price of corporate cleaning services varies.
Generally speaking, Corporate Cleaning Services are based on how often you use the cleaning services and what services are provided.
Small Office Costs
A small office that only needs basic janitorial service (dusting, vacuuming and taking out the trash) is very economical. Assuming a very small number of employees and cleaning service once or twice a week, the cost is around $195-$325 per month. Of course, this varies based on the square footage of the office, number of restrooms, traffic (outside visitors) and services needed.
A small business which typically has 2-4 offices, a meeting room, break-room and multiple restrooms typically needs service either 2, 3 or 5 times per week. The average cost will run about $450-$750 per month for these facilities.
Large Building Prices
Pricing for large buildings varies greatly because each has it’s own set of specifications. For instance, large, multi-floor offices or multi-tenant buildings are typically cleaned 5 days per week. However, 6 or 7 days per week may be needed for car dealerships or retail establishments. Paper and plastic can either be included in the price or added as a separate line item. Floor services like buffing, stripping and refinishing, carpet cleaning, etc may or may not be included. The same is true for window cleaning. Employee density will also have an impact of costs. For instance, is the building comprised of separate offices or large open spaces filled with lots of cubicles? All of this means that pricing for corporate cleaning services for large buildings can range from 5 cents up to 50 cents per square foot depending on the needs of the client.
For example, corporate cleaning services for a 20,000 square foot office building may cost between 5-10 cents per square foot. That equates to about $2,000-$4,000 per month.
One-Time and Specialty Services
One-Time Work — In many cases, clients may opt to be charged separately for “as-needed” or specialty services. For instance, labor-intensive work like stripping and refinishing hard floors costs 25 to 50 cents per square foot. The carpet cleaning charges will run 10-15 cents per square foot depending on whether it is water extraction cleaning or dry (low moisture) method. Need the dishes washed after an event? Does the office refrigerator need to be emptied and wiped clean? You can expect to pay $20-$40 on an hourly basis.
Medical Facilities — The cleaning services for medical facilities normally cost more than office facilities. Why? Simply because such places require specialize cleaning agents and procedures which can also include training and certification. The same can also be said for daycare’s and restaurants.
